Thales Transportation Systems - Europe

Thales, a  world leader in the defense, aeronautics and security’s electronic industry, has been an Econocom client for more than 10 years.
Thales chose Econocom to supply its end clients – government and defense agencies and local authorities – with IT platforms, on the basis of Econocom’s skills, adaptability and the commitment of its teams to the day-to-day management of its clients’ projects.
In 2005, Thales Transportation Systems tasked Econocom with setting up part of the IT infrastructure involved in the rollout of a Dutch single transport ticket program for cities like Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht and The Hague. A similar project was successfully executed in New Delhi, India, between 2002 and 2005.
