Econocom commits to the education of the most unprivileged in supporting Passerelles Numériques association
Econocom will provide financial, technical and human resources assistance for the Passerelles Numériques association :
- Financial assistance, for providing aid that will subsidize studies by 25 students (the Econocom class) for two years;
- Technical assistance, on the basis of a donation of laptops;
- Human resources assistance, in the field, through the involvement of Econocom staff in voluntary work or skills sponsorship.
At Econocom, we claim individual and collective responsibility. Our commitment in supporting the education of the most unprivileged proves it.
Passerelles Numériques association trains underprivileged young people in information technology to give them access to a job, thereby enabling them to help their families and to contribute to the development of their respective countries.
The association opened in 2005 a training center in Cambodia, the CIST (Center for Information System Training).
The CIST trained more than 250 students in 2009.
