Econocom provides education for disadvantaged young people through its sponsorship of Passerelles Numériques

Econocom’s commitment

Econocom supports the charity Passerelles Numériques through a partnership, involving:

1. Sponsoring a class of 25 pupils

In October 2009, Econocom sponsored a class of 25 pupils at CIST (an IT training college) right through to their graduation in 2010.

2. Corporate volunteering

Econocom offers its employees the opportunity to take part in a corporate volunteering scheme with Passerelles Numériques, giving IT training at the school.

3. Econocom management’s involvement in the charity’s strategic committee

4. Providing IT equipment

To contribute to the project launched in the Philippines in 2009 and in Vietnam in 2010, Econocom supplied some laptops.

At Econocom, the concept of responsibility is one of our core values, and is particularly eloquently expressed in this education scheme for underprivileged children.

Passerelles Numériques

The association opened in 2005 a training center in Cambodia, the CIST (Center for Information System Training).
