Jobdescription :

Integrated in our team of experienced system engineers, you will support the team on our projects at customers (Medium & Large companies) by:

• Define and document technical architecture needed
• Define and document detailed design based on global architecture.
• Installation and configuration of systems with performance tuning, disaster recovery, capacity planning, install fixes/upgrades, systems monitoring and deployment.
• Implement systems management solutions: installation, configuration and customisation of systems management software,
• Document implemented solutions.
• Train IT professionals in the use of the implemented systems.
• Provide a professional operational support on the different designed platforms and systems

You will be minimum 60% of your time at customer site.

Profile :

• Very good knowledge of diversity of ICT infrastructures;
• Experienced in AIX, UNIX and Storage;
• Experienced with distributed systems and with some others domains like linux, redhat, oracle, vmware, virtualisation, storage are a plus;
• Knowledge of Tivoli Storage Manager is an asset;
• Very good knowledge of Windows infrastructure support tools;
• Very good knowledge of application management principles;
• Higher education (Computer science, or equivalent with experience);
• Fluent in Dutch with good knowledge of English and French.
• Able to understand and solve problems effectively;
• Service an customer minded;
• Able to manage priorities effectively;
• Pro-active and result-oriented in your way of working;
• Stress resistant in a dynamic and flexible environment;
• Showing a can-do attitude.
